Biography 

Young bass-baritone Ferenc Endrész is someone who has already achieved a lot in his singing. He is finishing his Master's studies in opera programme at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest as student of Péter Fried. He also graduated as mechanical engineer from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2015. He speaks in English and German at intermediate level and also has basic knowledge in Italian. Mr. Endrész participated in masterclasses of  Prof. Dr. Mária Temesi and Krisztina Laki in 2018 and Claudio di Segni in 2019. He also took part in the opera workshops of the ENCUENTRO de Santander Festival in Spain in 2018 and in 2019 as well.

Mr. Endrész gained stage experience in following productions: In 2017 he sang solo in Beethoven’s 9th Symphony at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music conducted by Yoon Kuk Lee. In 2018 he also sang bass solo in  Requiem by Mozart conducted by Gergely Ménesi, and in the very same year he also sang in Requiem by Fauré conducted by István Stubendek.  In 2019 Mr. Endrész sang the role of Zuniga in Bizet’s opera Carmen conducted by Szabolcs Sándor and Papageno in Mozart’s Magic Flute conducted by Ádám Medveczky in exam opera productions of Franz Liszt Academy of Music.  In 2020 in the Contemporary Opera Showcase productions of Hungarian State Opera Mr. Endrész sang the roles of Larry and the Judge in opera Lonely Hearts by Bálint Karosi. He sang  Zuniga again in Carmen production of the National Theatre of Pécs directed by Dénes Gulyás and conducted by Péter Oberfrank.

For season 2020/21 Mr. Endrész has received many invitations to perform in different productions of the Hungarian State Opera: 

He made his role debut as Owen Hart in opera Dead Man Walking by Jake Heggie directed by András Almási-Tóth and conducted by Gergely Vajda. Mr. Endrész also sang the role of  Cappadocia in Salome by Richard Strauss directed by Zoltán Rátóti and conducted by Balázs Kocsár. The young bass-baritone had also opporunity to perform as guest artist of concert of acknoledged mezzo soprano Erika Gál and tenor Attila Fekete in "Masquerade ball"  online aria concert series of the Hungarian State Opera. 

At Cafe Budapest Contemporary Art Festival he sang role of Carvalho in opera The Yellow Sofa by Julian Philips directed by András Almási-Tóth and conducted by Szabolcs Sándor.

In 2020 Mr. Endrész made recording the title role Béla Bartók's opera The Castle of the Bluebeard (musical director: Zsuzsa Misura, piano: Péter Oberfrank)
