Biography
Hungarian tenor Mihály Spenger is currently a Bachelor student in classical singing at the University of Szeged Béla Bartók Faculty of Arts, where his professor is István Andrejcsik.
From 2009 he studied guitar privately with Géza Kiskörényi for four years. In 2013 he enrolled in classical singing at the Ferenc Erkel Primary School of Art in Cegléd, where his teacher was Judit Béres. From 2014, he also took private singing lessons from Ilona Tokody and András Muskát. He began his university studies in 2013 at the Department of English Studies of the Gáspár Károli Calvinistic University in Budapest, where he graduated in 2017. During his university years, he was already preparing for his higher music studies and from 2016 he took solfeggio, music theory and piano lessons from Zsolt Strajber, and from 2018 composer Ádám Baráz teaches these subjects.
His idoles are Maria Callas, Giuseppe Di Stefano, Dmitri Hvorostovky.
