Biography
The young Hungarian tenor Balázs Papp is currently a Bachelor student at the Liszt Ferenc University of Music, his voice teacher is Péter Fried. He graduated from the Zoltán Kodály High School of Music in Debercen in 2018. He studied piano until the third grade, and then took up composition, but in the fourth grade his major was classical singing. His former singing teacher is Marianna Bódi.
The most outstanding of his stage experiences are:
In 2017 he sang the role of Phoebeus in musical Notre Dame in Paris at the request of the Páholy Youth Theater in Deberecen.
In 2020 he sang the tenor part of Mozart's Mass in c minor with the Dohnányi Orchestra in Budafok.
Also in 2020, he sang the role of Emperor Nero and the Important Comrade in the premiere of Levente Gyöngyösi's opera Master and Margarita in Contemporary Opera Showcase program of the Hungarian State Opera.
