Biography
Young baritone, András Knáb has started playing the piano at age of seven at the Ernő Dohnányi Music School in Budapest. During his elementary school years, he also started to play the accordion. He graduated form the Benedictine Grammar School in Pannonhalm. In addition to his general grammar school studies he also took part in vocational training in church music. He began his studies of the organ and the performance of liturgical services. Within the framework of vocational training, he started to learn classical singing and the idea of further learning with singing was also formulated in him at that time.
After graduating in 2018, he spent the 2018/19 academic year in Germany on a scholarship. In September 2019, he began his studies at the Béla Bartók Conservatory of Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest as student of Veronika Dobi-Kiss.
In addition to his musical studies, he has been a student of architecture engineering at the Miklós Ybl Faculty of Architecture of the University of Óbuda since 2019. On weekends he plays in the churches of the area. In the future he wants music and singing in particular, to play a central role in his life.
