Biography
Soprano Olivera Krivokuća is currently studying with prof. Valentina Taškova in Mokranjac Music School in Belgrade. She also studies Italian language, literature, and culture at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Philology.
She won numerous awards by participating in republic and international competitions “Mita Topalović”, "Serbian solo song", "Lazar Jovanović", "Nikola Cvejić" and " Vera Kovač Vitkai”, where she was highly evaluated by the jury consisting of eminent professors from the Faculty of Music, Serbian famous prima donnas Radmila Bakočević and Vera Vitkai, foreign opera singers and professors from music conservatories across Europe.
In 2018 and 2019 she was selected as an active participant in a summer academy at one of the most prestigious music conservatories in Europe, Mozarteum in Salzburg in the class of prof. Michèle Crider. In 2019 she attended a master class led by prof. emeritus Vera Kovač Vitkai in Novi Sad.
She is also acquiring her stage experience in the Opera and Theatre Madlenianum where she sang in the choir ensemble of the opera Pagliacci, the musical Les Misérables, operetta Die Lustige Witwe where she played a grisette, Lolo and she sang the role of the Second Lady in Mozart's opera The Magic flute.
She was a participant in the Opera Studio at the Opera and Theatre Madlenianum in 2019, where she worked on her stage and singing skills with the director and playwright Tadija Miletić and professor of solo singing Tanja Obrenović. Within the studio, she debuted in the role of Elisetta in a shortened version of Domeniko Cimarosa’s opera Il Matrimonio segreto.
Since 2017, she has been a member of the ensemble Operetika whose artistic directors are Ljubica Živković and Valentina Taškova. With the ensemble, she had the opportunity to perform throughout Serbia.
