Biography
Mezzo soprano Júlia Majercsik began her musical studies in Csorna at the György Kerényi School of Art majoring in piano and classical singing. After graduation from the János Richter High School of Music in Győr, she was admitted to the University of Pécs in 2017. As a student of acknoledged Hungarian mezzo soprano Bernadett Wiedemann she holds a Bachelor's degree in classical singing. Currently she is in Master's programme of opera singing. In 2012 she received an award for worthy students from the town of Csorna. In 2017 she participated in the masterclass of Mária Temesi at the Szeged Summer Academy. In 2019 she studied at masterclasses of Marianna Váradi and Judith Van Wanroij. In 2017 she won Special Prize at the Veszprém Singing Competition. She has performed twice in the Magic Flute production staged by the University of Pécs.
