Biography 

Soprano Zsuzsanna Kapi grew up in a family of musicians. She learned to play the violin for 14 years, which she pursues as a hobby today. She graduated from the Zoltán Kodály Hungarian Choir School in 2017 as a soloist, her teachers were László Beöthy-Kiss and Andrea Csereklyei. During her high school years in 2016 she won a special prize at the 6th National Vocational High School Singing Competition. In 2017 she was admitted to the Faculty of Music at University of Debrecen, as student of Dr. Ildikó Iván. In 2018 she won a special prize in the competition of István Széchenyi University. She is currently studying at master's programme in opera major, and conductor Géza Török is helping to develop her opera roles. She has studied in master classes from  Marcel Boone, Atilla Kiss-B., Krisztina Laki, Éva Bátori, Ingrid Kertesi, Ildikó Iván, Constance Fee, Tünde Szabóki, László Stachó.

In 2018 she participated in the premiere of Márton Horváth's duet cycle Fodrok as a partner of Andrea Csereklyei, accompanied by the composer at piano. Since 2019 she has been a member of the Internationale Chorakademie Lübeck, an international choir of soloist voices. She is currently preparing for two important performances: the title role of Giacomo Puccini's opera Sister Angelica, and she will sing the role of Mademoiselle Silberklang in Mozart's Der Schauspieldirektor, organized by the University of Debrecen.
