Biography

The young soprano Renáta Polonkai began her instrumental studies on classical guitar at the Teleki-Wattay School of Art in Pomáz. He studied classical singing at the Kalász Elementary School of Art in Budakalász for five years until 2020. Between 2017 and 2020 she was a student of the Theatre School of Mária Gór Nagy, acknoledged Hungarian actress. Renáta also graduated as an actor in 2020. Despite of her young age, she has gained several stage experiences: since 2008 she has performed in nearly twenty musicals in both supporting and major roles and had opportunity to work with  renowned theatre directors. Since 2018, as a member of RebekArt Production she sang in nearly 50 operettas, classical and other concerts.

Since 2020 she has been studying classical singing and piano at the Szombathely Art High School and Technical School.

She has several outstanding results from Hungarian Competitions:

2019 - Trilla National Singing Competition - Special Prize
