Biography
Born in 1999, Anna Bognár has been taking vocal lessons since 2011. Ms. Bognár finished her high school studies at the 'Zoltán Kodály' Primary, Secondary and Music School of Kecskemét. Her teachers: Katalin Hajdú, Judit Kővári and Bernadett Wiedemann.
She already won several competitions: 2016, she reached the 1st place and received an Award of Excellence, 2017 she won a shared 1st place and 2019 the 1st place again of the Kodály Zoltánné Sándor Emma Contest. 2016 she won the 2nd price and 2018 the 1st price of the National Competition organized for the Classical Hungarian Composers’ Vocal and Instrumental Compositions.
2017 she took part in the In Memoriam Luciano Pavarotti Master Classes, led by Dénes Gulyás and Miklós Király and also visited courses by B. Attila Kiss, Mónika Sáfár and Bernadett Wiedemann. Anna Bognár participated in radio recordings of the Bartók Radio with songs by Zoltán Kodály. In Kecskemét at the Spring Festival she sang a solo part in Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor. She had further appearances at the Day of the Town festival, Children for children gala, opening ceremonies of exhibitions and in programs of festive ceremonies at the Town Hall.
Her big dream is to continue her vocal studies at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and become an opera singer.
