Biography

Dóra Cintia Szabó was born in Keszthely in 1996. She graduated in 2016 from the Vántus István Training Vocational High School for Music. Between 2016 and 2019 she studied singing at the University of Szeged. During her studies, she spent the spring semester in Palermo, at the Conservatorio di musica Vincenzo Bellini in the frame of Erasmus+ Program in 2018. She continued her studies at masters’ level in classical singing in Szeged. In 2021 Ms. Szabó participated in the Master Academy of the György Cziffra Festival, where she sang in the course of Erika Miklósa.

The young soprano speaks Romanian at advanced, Italian, and English at an intermediate level. She passed a 54-type OKJ (National Training Register) exam in singing. Besides singing, she also plays the piano, the zither, the guitar, and the flute. Dóra Cintia Szabó has been folk dancing for 15 years.

In 2017, she participated in the master course of Mihaela Buhaiciuc in the frame of the Brasov International Summer Voice Program and in 2019, in the master course of Éva Marton which was held in Szeged.

Since 2019, she sings in the choir of the National Theatre of Szeged.
