Biography

Renáta Gebe-Fügi was born in 1993 in Cluj-Napoca. She studies at the Gheorghe Dima Academy of Music in her home town. She has a bachelor's diploma in violin (Year of graduation: 2015) and currently, she is a fourth-year-student in opera singing. She participated in the master courses of Florian Boesch, Mihály Kálmándy, Regine Köbler, David Lomelí, Michael Schade és Catryn Wyn-Davies. In 2019, she studied with a scholarship in Austria at the International Summer Academy. She is a member of the Transylvanian Opera Academy.

She sang in the following productions:

Beyond these, she gave several concerts with the Fonte di Gioia, the Quarto D’oro, and the Transylvania Baroque orchestras in Oradea, Timișoara, Odorheiu Secuiesc, Brașov, Cluj-Napoca, and Sibiu.

In 2017 she was the winner of the Mozart Competition of Cluj-Napoca.

She plays the violin in the Cluj-Napoca Hungarian Opera, speaks Hungarian, Romanian and English. She possesses a Certificate in pedagogy on Level 1 and she also has been folk dancing for 12 years.
