Biography
Young baritone, Ágoston Cser received Bachelor's degree in choral conducting from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in 2015 as student of Péter Erdei and Csaba Somos. Mr. Cser received his Bachelor's degree as classical singer in 2018 as student of Péter Fried. He continued his studies at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music under leadership of Gábor Bretz. In 2020 Mr. Cser obtained his Master's degree in oratorio and song.
In 2013, he was a member of the New Liszt Ferenc Chamber Choir, between 2014-2015, he sang in the Saint Ephraim Male Choir. In his opera exam of 2016, he performed Starveling/Moon in Britten’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, in 2017 at the National Theatre of Miskolc, he played Pupil I in Szabolcs Máttyássy’s Scaevola. In 2018, he sang the part of Professor in Hindemith’s Back and forth at the Kiscell Museum and in his opera exam of 2019, the part of Dancaire in Bizet’s Carmen.
Between 2014 and 2019, he regularly participated in courses of the Crescendo Summer Institute, so he could learn from Gábor Bretz, Andrea Meláth, Stephen Morscheck and Uwe Schenker.
