Biography 

János Szabolcs Kádár is an actor and singer. He is currently freshman of the Béla Bartók Faculty of Arts at the University of Szeged, his teacher is István Andrejcsik.

He graduated from the Pest Broadway Studio of the Budapest Operetta Theater and the Railway School of Music and Fine Arts in 2010. Later he became a contracted member of the Budapest Operetta Theater. He sang many main and supporting roles of several musical and operetta performances in the Budapest Operetta Theater. He has been a soloist at several International Operetta Galas over the years. He has performed in Germany, Austria, Italy, Poland, Russia and Canada.

He is currently a freelance artist in addition to his university studies. The Hungarian audience has already could seen him in several theaters countryside as well. In role of Tony in West Side Story production of The National Theater of Szeged, in role of Count Boni in Csárdásfürstin at Csokonai Theater in Debrecen, or as Frederich Barett in musical Titanic at Petőfi Theater in Veszprém. He is also a returning guest artist at the Szeged Open-air Theatre. 

Szabolcs Kádár has started classical singing studies in 2017 as student of István Andrejcsik,  Artisjus- and Bartók-Pászthory Awardwinner operasinger, soloist of the National Theatre of Szeged, teacher of  University of Szeged Béla Bartók Faculty of Arts.

Married, his wife is Krisztina Nyirkó, actess, member of the Kolibri Children and Youth Theater. They have a son, Vince.
