Biography
Bence Szabó, a young tenor from Zagyvaszántó, has been attending a music kindergarten and then a music school since the age of four. In Hatvan at the Albert Kocsis School of Art, first Mrs. Oszvald Pálos, and later Éva Köles taught him to sing folk songs. He took part in singing competitions every year and experienced the stage.
Between 2017 and 2018, he was a member of the Children's Choir of the Hungarian State Opera House until he was mutated. After a year of rest, however, in 2019 he continued his classical singing studies at the Music School in Hatvan as a student of Krisztina Szabó. In the very same year he won first place at the II. Keönch Boldizsár Singing Competition.
Since 2020, he has been a student of the Béla Bartók Music High Scool of the Liszt Ferenc University of Music, where his singing teacher is Magdolna Szabó and his répétiteur is Mónika Baja. He won 1st place at the National Music High School Singing Competition this year.
Bence's dream is to become an opera singer and he has a great desire to be able to sing again at the Hungarian State Opera House as an adult and a graduate artist as well.
