Biography 

Young and promising tenor István Czikora graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Singing from  the University of Pécs, Hungary as a student of Andrea Melath and Atilla Kiss-B in 2014. He completed two Master of Arts, one in Opera Singing and one in Teaching of Music Performance at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and at the University of Szeged as a student of Prof. Dr. Maria Temesi and Istvan Andrejcsik. Currently he is a scholarship holder at the Hungarian Academy of Arts.

He has a wide repertoire that includes opera, operetta and oratorium to musical pieces and has been a member of the Budapest Operetta Theater since 2019. He is a strong advocate for orphans living in governmental run housing while volunteering his time focusing on their development of life skills, self-esteem, and overall well-being as they navigate life into adulthood.
