Biography
The young soprano Hanbyul Stella Jeung was born in 1994 in South Korea, where she learned to sing at a very young age. In 2014, she was admitted to the Vienna University of Music, of which he was a student until 2018. Her masters were Prof. Uta Schwabe and Akiko Nakajima. From 2018 she is a Master's student in opera at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin. She had the opportunity to learn from masters Prof. Linda Watson, Prof. Youngmi Kim and Prof. Hendrik Bräunlich in master classes. She also won scholarships from the Sungjung Foundation and the Giovanni Omodeo Foundation. In 2019 she won the Rheinsberg Castle Chamber Opera Competition.
