Biography
Raised up in Miskolc, Dávid Dani started his musical education at the age of six at the Erkel Ferenc Music School, where he had been playing the piano for 12 years before he started to learn singing after finishing high school. During his years at music school, he performed highly successful at the Jenő Ádám Song Competition, the László Varga Singing Competition and the József Gregor Singing Competition.
While being at high school, he worked as an assistant singer of the choir at the National Theatre of Miskolc as bassist. After finishing high school, he followed a study as electrical engineer, then he was admitted to the Liszt Academy of Music where he received a bachelor and master degree in singing, then he also graduated as music teacher in 2015. Besides this, he visited master courses by Claudio de Segni, Béla Perencz, Yevgeny Nesterenko, Kurt Rydl and Éva Marton.
After graduating from the Liszt Academy, he performed as a solo bassist in concerts at the Liszt Academy, the Vigadó of Pest, the Matthias Church, at the Gala of the Miskolc Opera Festival, as well as in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. He performed in several operas at the National Theatre of Miskolc, the National Theatre of Pécs, the National Theatre of Szeged, the Margaret Island Open-Air Stage, the Open-Air Festival of Szeged, Müpa Budapest and the MuTh Konzertsaal in Vienna.
