The foundation's goal is to raise awareness of classical music culture among the masses, and to attract talent and support young people in art education.

Founder of the foundation: Mrs. Judit Simándy (1934-2019)

The initial assets of the foundation are 100,000 HUF, and the profit achieved in the course of its management is used exclusively for the realization of the goals of the foundation.

The Foundation is curated by Dr. Mária Temesi

Mission of the Foundation

The Foundation pursues its mission through the following specific activities:

• Organizing The József Simándy International Singing Competition in every 2-3 years
• Organization of art and music festivals, concert organization, where the foundation provides an opportunity to introduce young talents
• Organizing other art competitions, organizing opera, song and oratorio evenings, commemorating the birth and death of composers
• Organizing talent research programs, directing the discovered talents to the appropriate training places, continuously monitoring their studies and development
• Talent development through participation in competitions, shows, and participation in masterclasses
• Supporting your participation in classical music education through a grant application or individual application, payment of money and provision of funds for your studies
• Organization of masterclasses with national and international participants, by inviting art teachers and paying the student participation fee.
• Financing study trips for students, assuming the cost of visiting institutions in other cities
• Charitable initiatives eg targeted fundraising and distribution. 

Our foundation is proud to have been able to assist many young (16-35 year old) talented opera singers in their career.
